Welcome to Ark! Ark was designed for single Christians to meet, date, and find faith-based connections! Our community is what makes Ark the great place that it is.

Ark member's safety and well-being is top priority. Certain activities, on or off the app, can get you banned from using the app. These community standards are referred to as the Ark Commandments. Here are the basics of what is and isn’t permitted on Ark:

1. Be respectful.

Act the way you would in real life. The following behaviors are not allowed:

The use of crude or sexual comments. Ark does not tolerate any kind of sexual harassment or exploitation.
Anything that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual.
Harassment, intimidation, or disparagement of another person.
Requesting money from other users.
Advertising.
Behavior that violates any law or regulation.

2. Upload good photos.

Uploading fun photos that represent you is one of the best ways to get matches. The following are not okay:

Using someone else’s photos / pretending to be someone else.
Anything obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, or suggestive.
Shirtless/underwear mirror selfies.
Unaccompanied children.

3. Act appropriately.

This should go without saying, but the following behaviors, exhibited anywhere at any time, are immediate disqualifiers for using Ark.

Sexual harassment or assault.
Violence or physical harm.
Stalking or harassment.
Prostitution or trafficking.

4. Be a single adult.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Ark.
You cannot use Ark if you are legally married (if you are divorced, the divorce must be finalized before you can use Ark).

5. Report bad behavior.

We export our users to report inappropriate behavior so that we can keep our community safe. Again, no manner of lewd, hateful, or threatening speech will be tolerated. If you or someone you know was treated poorly, let us know so that person can't do it to someone else! To report something on Ark:

Scroll down and tap "Report this Profile".
Tell us why you’re reporting them.

Ark reserves the right to investigate and/or terminate your account without a refund of any purchases if you have misused the Service or behaved in a way that Ark regards as inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of these Community Standards, including actions or communications, within or without the app.
