COMMENTS

Comments make conversation a little bit easier because you can comment directly on any aspect of someone’s profile. This can help start a conversation more organically and takes the pressure off of you to come up with a perfect opening line. Comments sent are 2x as likely to result in a long conversation! Plus, comments are completely free to use, so you can send as many as you like!

For example, let’s say that you see a picture on someone’s profile with their dog. You love dogs and want to learn more about theirs., Instead of trying to find a way to bring it up in conversation, leave a comment directly on their dog picture. If they also swipe up on you, that comment will be the first thing they see in your conversation together. Now you can jump right into a conversation about your shared love of dogs!

BOOSTS

Boost allows you to anonymously place your profile in someone’s swiping feed so that your profile is among the first that they see. This essentially allows you to cut in line and make sure your face gets seen first! Boosts are completely anonymous so they won’t know that you used a boost on them. They also won’t see any comments you leave on their profile unless they also swipe up on you.

Why should it matter where you’re at in someone’s swiping feed? People only swipe for so much time at once. The later you are in their feed, the longer it will take for them to get to you. The longer it takes for them to get to you, the more your happily ever after could be delayed. You want them to see you!

All users get 1 free boost every week. Premium users get 1 free boost every day.

NOTES

Notes allow you to message someone before you match. With a Note, you’re guaranteed to get a word in before they decide to swipe up or down on you. Your profile will be prioritized AND your message will be placed directly in their inbox for 7 days.

Unlike Boosts, Notes are not anonymous. The person who you send a note to will receive a notification that you’ve sent them a note. It’s a great way to make a bold move! People who send Notes are 3 times more likely to get a match!

All users get one free note every week. Premium users get one free note every day!

CHARACTER TRAITS

Character traits help you see, at a glance, what you have in common with others. Being able to see the traits that you have in common with others can help take your swiping from “window shopping” to focused, curated dating.

The following traits can be added to your profile:

Distance
Education
Height
Language
Pets
Fitness
Politics
Marriage History
Children
Future Children
Relationship Goals
Alcohol Use
Smoking

Each of these traits has multiple sub-options to identify with. You can choose which ones will show up on your profile for others to see. Keep in mind that hiding traits means that they won’t show up when someone is looking at your profile, but you will still show up in people’s filtered searches.

Shared Traits

At the top of each profile, the shared traits section will show you what traits you have in common with that person. Additionally, the shared trait icon at the bottom of the screen will show you how many traits and tags you have in common with them.

Filtering

Filtering is what makes character traits really powerful. Premium users can sort through their swiping feed to only show the people with the characteristics that are most important to them.

Dealbreakers

Dealbreakers are those “make it or break it” traits. If you turn on a Dealbreaker when filtering, then profiles that don’t meet that criteria exactly will not show up in your swiping feed at all unless you turn off that filter.

If you use a filter without a Dealbreaker, then the people who fit your criteria most closely will show up first. When those people run out, you will then be shown people who sit just outside that criteria. Don’t be afraid to look outside your “usual” type! You never know, your soul mate could be the girl who’s two inches taller than you or the guy who’s three years younger than you.

SEE WHO LIKES ME

See Who Likes Me allows Premium Subscribers to take a peek at the people who have already swiped up on them. If you’re scared of swiping up and not having anyone swipe back, swiping through the profiles you see using the See Who Likes Me Feature ensures that your up-swipes will result in a match!

TRAVEL PASS

Sometimes it seems like you’ve already tried dating everyone nearby and you need some fresh options.
